Bring your yoga clothes, a light jacket (winter), swimwear if you dip in the Ganges or go on excursions, good walking shoes, a yoga mat if you prefer your own, toiletries, and travel/visa documents. Be ready to adjust to ashram life.
What makes Hari Om Yoga Vidya School different from other schools in Rishikesh?
Some of the key distinctions: long history (15+ years), strong international student base, certified programs (Yoga Alliance), deep curriculum (not just postures but philosophy, breathwork, etc.), committed teachers, and a warm, family-like vibe rather than just “course-factory” style. Plus, its location in Rishikesh gives you immediate access to spiritual sites, the Ganges, nature, and that special energy.
